A live recording of this piece was made at its world premier in Eugene, Oregon. The composer himself can be heard as pianist, with the talents of violinist Sean O'Neal and cellist Ralph Stricker-Chapman.

This piece was written for Dinsfriend’s second year of composition at the Univeristy of Oregon. Its instrumentation is the same as Brahms’ trio: clarinet in A, cello, and piano. It is based on a prophecy which the composer’s cousin received concerning the destruction of Los Angeles through an earthquake in 2010 because of sin. The composer plays piano in this live recording of the premiere in Beall Hall.
